61-year-old Rick Fall has seen it all since he left B.C on April 12 on a cross-country run to raise money for “Make-A-Wish Canada” and “Childhood Cancer Canada”.

“I’ve seen rain, I’ve seen snow, I’ve seen heat and I’ve seen wind.” Fall said from Moose Jaw where he arrived on Wednesday. “I’m not complaining though.”

Fall decided to embark on this adventure because not only did he feel as if he could, but it was something he wanted to do for the kids that can’t.

“I’m doing it for the kids that can’t, the families that can’t and it is something that needed to be done. “Fall said. “This will help two tremendous charities.  Childhood Cancer is very underfunded so I thought I could do this.  I worked with a Terry Fox run several years ago and I wanted to do something like he tried.”

Fall is only running a few kilometers per day so he won’t be in Regina until Friday.  He will then take a couple of days off to visit some friends he has in Saskatchewan before getting back on the road early next week   With some of those friends being in Windthorst, he will get back on to the Trans-Canada highway at Moosomin with plans on being in Sault Ste. Marie, which is his hometown, in August where he will end the run.
