An 88-year-old man is dead after a vehicle collided with the motorized scooter he was riding in Kindersley Wednesday morning.

RCMP say they were called to Main Street just after 9:00 a.m.

The vehicle was turning north on to Main Street from 5th Avenue West when the collision happened.

The man on the scooter was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, next of kin has been notified.

Police say the investigation is still unfolding.
