Police arrest four following firearm, drug trafficking investigation in Moose Jaw

An investigation into drug and firearm trafficking in Moose Jaw has resulted in the arrests of four suspects and an arrest warrant for a fifth person.

The Moose Jaw Police Service shared in a release on Monday that the investigation was conducted in partnership with the RCMP and the province’s Integrated Crime Reduction Team. The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Emergency Response Team ran a search warrant on June 11 at a home on the 1000 block of Iroquois Street West.

During the search warrant, officers seized two handguns, a shotgun, 20 grams of cocaine, 84 grams of methamphetamine and 84 grams of fentanyl. Investigators also located $10,000 in Canadian money.

Police arrested four residents of Moose Jaw – Skip Rutledge, Brandon Gariepy, Joseph Moses and Ryan Buckton.

Buckton has been charged with trafficking firearms and possession of cocaine. Moses faces a single charge of trafficking firearms. Rutledge has been charged with improper storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of cocaine. There are six charges for Gariepy including possession for the purpose of trafficking offences.

The arrest warrant has been issued for Kailyn Fletcher of Moose Jaw for multiple charges including drug trafficking and firearm offences.
