Pats and PA to open 21-22 WHL season with home-and-home

The Regina Pats and Prince Albert Raiders will open up the 2021-2022 season with games against one another.

The two teams announced Wednesday that the two will meet October 1 at the Art Hauser Centre before returning to the Brandt Centre for a rematch the next night.

The October 2 game will be the first game at the Brandt Centre played in front of fans since March 11,2020—a span of 570 days.

The rest of the schedule will be announced at a later date.  Games this year will be conference-only as the Pats will not play teams from the U.S or B.C Divisions.
