The death of a man at the Pasqua Hospital is now being investigated as a homicide.
Just after midnight on Friday, police were dispatched to the hospital in regards to an injured man, where he was later pronounced dead.
The investigation led police to a residence on the 1300 block of Garnet Street.
The victim has been identified and his family has been notified.
No further information is being provided as the investigation is ongoing.
This is Regina’s sixth homicide of 2021.
