CFL training camp begins Saturday

The 2021 CFL season begins with training camp, beginning on Saturday.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are already dealing with a heavy load of injuries that were announced on Thursday, with four players tearing their Achilles.

As well, with no exhibition games this year, those hoping to make an impact and get the attention of head coach Craig Dickenson will have to do so during camp.

Fans won’t be able to see the team get put through the paces as they are not allowed in the stadium at this time. The team is hoping that changes in the next couple of days.

The Riders begin the regular season August 6 against the B.C. Lions.

620 CKRM’s the Sportscage will be on location from Riders training camp on Monday.
