Severe thunderstorms a possibility in southern Saskatchewan on Sunday

Environment Canada has issued a series of severe thunderstorm watches for areas across southern Saskatchewan including Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Humboldt, Kamsack, Watrous and Kindersley.

Thunderstorms will develop across southern Saskatchewan this afternoon and evening as a cold front sweeps across the province. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe with heavy rain, damaging winds and large hail.

These storms are expected to happen late in the afternoon or early in the evening with another round coming late Sunday night perhaps stretching into the overnight hours.
