The Yorkton RCMP has been made aware that someone has created a Facebook Page impersonating them.

The RCMP say this page has been set up as a personal page rather than a business or organizational page.

It features the RCMP logo as the profile picture and the City of Yorkton logo as the cover photo.

Mounties are taking steps to have the account removed, and say if you get a friend request from this fake RCMP page to not accept or engage with them.

RCMP also recommend that any imitation accounts be reported immediately and directly to Facebook.
