AGT Foods of Regina officially opens $65-million grain handling hub in Delisle

AGT Foods of Regina has officially opened a $65-million grain handling facility in Delisle, about 290 kilometers northwest of Regina.

AGT Foods President Murad Al-Katib, says Delisle is well-located as a rail consolidation and processing centre for grains.

He says the facility will handle most grains, including durum, lentils, and peas.

Al-Katib says the Delisle terminal will be able to clean 1,000 tons of grain per hour, providing the ability to clean entire unit trains in half a day for market.
