A man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle just north of the Gordons First Nation on Wednesday morning.

Punnichy RCMP were called to the scene around 7:15 a.m.  Upon arrival, the man was already dead.

The vehicle and its driver had fled the scene.

The name and age of the man is not being released at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Punnichy RCMP.
