One fire investigation has concluded in a fire that spread to multiple homes on 33rd Street Sunday morning. The cause is undetermined.

At 8:13 a.m., the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a report of a one-storey home on fire in the 3400 Block of 33rd Street West.

The first arriving fire crews reported that one home was fully involved in fire, and spreading fire to the homes on either side of it. According to the fire department additional equipment and firefighters were called in to fight the blaze. It was also reported to the fire crews that all occupants had gotten out of the home safely. Fire crews began attacking the fire upon arrival, utilities were shut down, and SaskEnergy and electrical crews were requested for additional scene safety and support.

The fires were brought under control at 9:38 a.m. and the Salvation Army responded to support the immediate needs of the residents impacted.

Damage is estimated at $325,000 to all structures. Saskatoon Police Service are continuing the investigation.

No residents or firefighters were injured as a result of this fire.
