Four youths, one adult, facing charges after robbery in Regina

On Saturday morning, around 3:17 am, Regina Police responded to a robbery on Arcola Avenue and Victoria Avenue.

Prior to police arrival, the male suspects had fled. The adult male victim sustained minor injuries caused by bear spray and some personal items were stolen from the victim.

A short time later, police located 4 young females and one adult man in the 2200 block of Harvey Street, who matched the description on the suspects.

A 13-year-old youth has been charged with robbery, a 15-year-old youth has been charged with accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence, a 14-year-old youth has been charged with robbery and failure to comply, and a 15-year-old youth has been charged with robbery and obstructing a peace officer.

In addition, 20-year-old Avison McKay has been charged with robbery and failure to comply with a probation order.

All suspects will make their first appearance in court on Monday.
