Many in Assiniboia spent Tuesday afternoon assessing damage after a hailstorm hit the town, two hours south of Regina, on Tuesday morning.
Curtis Nelson with Nelson Motors in Assiniboia says the sky got extremely dark around 8 AM with the storm hitting around 9.
“It probably hailed for about 10 minutes I would say.” Nelson said. “We had marble-sized hail in some parts of town, but in others, we had golf-ball sized hail.
Nelson says the system that rolled through brought very little rain as it all came down in ice.
