Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mixed this past week.

Acting provincial cattle specialist, Natasha Wilkie, says feeder steer prices range from 271 dollars 83 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 185 dollars 10 cents for the over 900 pound weight category.

The largest price increase was for 300 to 400 pounds, up 2 dollars 83 cents.

The largest decline was the 400 to 500 pound category, down 3 dollars 54 cents to end the week averaging 244 dollars 71 cents.

For feeder heifers, prices ranged from 218 dollars 64 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 174 dollars 71 cents for the over 800 pound category.
