Vaccine QR codes available again

After a glitch last week caused the government to take down QR codes from online proof of vaccination certificates, the codes are back now that the problem has been fixed.

On Friday, the province discovered a privacy breach so they were temporarily removed, but the codes were active again Tuesday morning.

As of October 1, people in Saskatchewan will have to show proof of vaccination to get into places like bars, restaurants and entertainment venues.

EHealth Saskatchewan is telling people that if you had already downloaded or taken a screenshot of your certificate with a QR code that those are now invalid and will have to be done again.

You can get your new code and certificate from your MySaskHealthRecord account.
