Proof of vaccination needed for 2022 Saskatchewan Winter Games

The 2022 Saskatchewan Winter Games and the Saskatchewan Games Council have announced all individuals taking part in the games, which go next February in Regina, will have to be fully vaccinated prior to its beginning.

This includes all athletes, coaches, managers, mission staff, event staff and volunteers who are aged 12 and over. If youth under 12 are allowed to be immunized before the games start, the policy will also include them. All fans under 12 will also be required to show proof-of-vaccination.

Up to 1,800 young athletes, coaches and officials and managers will be competing in 17 different sports
