Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 booster shot program reaches second phase Monday

On Monday, Oct. 4, the second phase of Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 booster shot program will commence.

Eligible residents will include everyone over the age of 80, those who are immunocompromised, and anyone considered extremely clinically vulnerable with auto-immune diseases.

Six months must pass since receiving a second dose of the vaccine, in order to receive the booster shot.

Those eligible with medical reasons will receive a letter from the Ministry of Health or their physician with instructions on how to receive the booster shot.
