A Davidson man is dead after the vehicle he was in rolled just west of Girvin Tuesday afternoon.

Craik RCMP responded to the incident on Highway #749, about seven kilometres west of Girvin before 2:00 PM.

Investigation has determined that a cement truck left the roadway and rolled. The 67-year-old man driving the truck was declared dead at the scene, and his family has been notified.

The highway was closed for investigation but has since re-opened. RCMP are still investigating.

Girvin is about 130 kilometres north of Regina on Highway #11.
