APAS outlines upcoming farm youth mentorship program

APAS has announced the participants in this year’s Youth Leadership and Mentorship Program.

The program matches farmers between 18 and 40 with a farm leader over the age of 40 to learn about farm policies, lobbying, and networking skills.

The APAS mentorship participants this coming year include Glen Munholland of Strasbourg, Cody Tataryn of Ituna, Brett Spray of Preeceville, Sarah Leguee of Weyburn and Madison Englot of Indian Head.

FCC is a sponsor of the program and says the partnership will enable the mentees to meet with industry specialists at FCC and discuss the agricultural industry.

APAS vice president Ian Boxall is a former mentee and current mentor and says the skills he developed in the program have been critical in his agricultural career.
