Environment Canada is expecting a mix of snow and rain during the day on Wednesday and Thursday. Up to 30 millimeters of rain is expected in some areas, while between five to 10 centimeters of snow is also in the forecast.

The weather office reminds those hitting the roads that there will be a quick change and deterioration in travel conditions. Visibility will be reduced at times, and heavier, wet snow could bring down branches and power lines.

A return to double digit highs are expected to return on Friday.
