Mixed vaccines will be allowed for Canadians traveling by land or ferry to U.S.

Those with mixed doses of vaccines will be able to enter the United States on Nov. 8.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control says while it’s not recommended for Americans, they recognize it’s an increasingly common practice in other countries — such as Canada — and will be accepted for residents of those foreign countries.

Nearly four million Canadians have received a mixed vaccine schedule.

The U.S. will also allow those fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca’s vaccine even though the CDC has not approved it for use for Americans.
