A CP freight train carrying potash has derailed north of the town of Silton which is about 40 minutes north of Regina.

The Transportation Safety Board says it happened Saturday morning around 5 a.m.

No injuries were reported and there are no public safety concerns according to the Board.

TSB investigators along with investigators from CP are on the scene trying to figure out what happened.

No other details have been provided.
