Police are looking for information in connection to a Hit and Run between a vehicle and a cyclist at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue East and Fleury Street that took place Tuesday morning.

Police learned a red Dodge Caravan had struck a man riding his bike heading west on Dewdney Avenue East. The driver of the van then fled the scene.

The 35-year-old man riding his bike — who has not been named — was taken to hospital to treat serious injuries. Investigation is underway to locate the suspect vehicle and driver.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident who has not already been in contact with police are asked to reach out to RPS or Crime Stoppers.
