Police are investigating after a vehicle hit a pedestrian at the corner of Dewdney Avenue and McIntyre Street Tuesday night.
Police were called to the scene at about 6:30. Preliminary investigation indicates a Toyota Echo was traveling east on Dewdney Avenue when it hit a 44-year-old woman crossing the street diagonally. The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
No charges have been laid in the incident. The vehicle remained in the east-bound lane during the collision.
