Threats issued at Swift Current Comprehensive High School

Two schools in Swift Current spent most of Thursday morning in a hold and secure situation following reports of potential threats to the Swift Current Comprehensive High School.

The Swift Current Municipal R-C-M-P responded to the threats at about 8:40 a.m. on October 21st, placing the Swift Current Comprehensive High School and the O.M. Irwin School on hold and secure while attending to the area to ensure pubic safety. A man was located at a different location and was arrested without incident. No charges have been laid and an investigation continues, although R-C-M-P do not believe there is any further danger to the public.
