Regina man facing manslaughter charge in connection to King St. death

A Regina man has been charged with manslaughter in relation to Regina’s eleventh homicide of the year.

Police were called to the 900 block of King Street on Wednesday night at around 9:30 for a report of an unresponsive man. Police attempted CPR until EMS arrived, and the victim — 43-year-old Mitchell Anthony — was then pronounced dead at the scene.

Further investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Reagan MacDonald, who is now charged with manslaughter and failure to comply.

MacDonald appeared in court Friday morning.
