Thunder end perfect regular season with win over Calgary

Brayden Long ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday afternoon while Eric Maximuik had four field goals as the Regina Thunder ended the Prairie Football Conference regular-season with a 35-16 win over the Calgary Colts.   The win leaves the Thunder going into the playoffs with an 8-0 record as they record their first perfect season since taking the field for the first time in the 2000 season.

The Thunder will have next weekend off before hosting a PFC semi-final at Leibel Field on November 7.  If they win that game, they would host the league final on November 14.
