On Friday night at around 7:30, Regina Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Athol Street on a complaint of disturbance of several people and the sound of gunshots.

When Police arrived, two suspects fled the scene, a victim was discovered to have been assaulted and had personal items stolen by the suspects. During the altercation a firearm was discharged, however the victim was not hit.

A short time later, the two suspects were located by Police, the stolen belongings were returned and a firearm was located.

A 17 year old is facing several charges including armed robbery while using a firearm and Discharge a firearm in a reckless manner.

A 16 year old is also facing a number of charges including armed robbery while using a firearm and Discharge a firearm in a reckless manner.

The youths can not be named because of Youth Criminal Act.

The two youths will be making an appearance in Provincial Court tomorrow.
