The first hat-trick in Seattle Kraken history was scored by Regina’s own Jordan Eberle on Thursday night, in a 5-2 win on home ice over the Buffalo Sabers.

The former Pats star admitted after the game, as soon as the third goal went in, he knew it was a special moment.
“Yeah it’s obviously an honour,” the 31-year-old said after the game. “It’s really cool, I’ve had a couple before, but to get the first one in Kraken history and in this arena, it’s really special,” Eberle said.
“I’m not going to lie, when the third one went in I definitely thought about it, so it’s a neat moment and it’s part of history so it’s nice to be a part of that,” he added.
Last night’s hat-trick was the fourth of Eberle’s NHL career and first since February 21, 2020 against Detroit.
It was also what is called a natural hat-trick, which means the three goals were scored consecutively.
Jordan Eberle scored not one, not two, but THREE goals tonight for the @SeattleKraken, making it the 1st hat-trick in Kraken history!
