Tuesday was a milestone night for Regina’s Ryan Getzlaf.
The 36-year-old Anaheim Ducks captain recorded his 1,000th career regular season NHL point, with an assist on the Ducks first goal in a 3-2 overtime win over Washington.

Getzlaf is just the 92nd player in NHL history to reach the 1,000 point mark, and the seventh Saskatchewan born player to reach the mark.
