A man and woman face a total of 16 charges after an incident early Saturday morning.
Regina Police say they were asked to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle thought to have been involved in a break-and-enter outside city limits.
The suspect vehicle refused to stop and ended up getting stuck in the area of Hoffer Bay and Park Street in the city’s north end. While tire deflation devices were used successfully, the driver of the vehicle kept moving forward and reversing ramming a police cruiser.
After several attempts to drive away, RPS say the two moved to the back of the vehicle and eventually the trunk before they were negotiated out about 90 minutes later.
20-year-old Tiarah Pratt and 25-year-old Lyndon Delorme were in court Monday morning to answer to the charges.
