A former Yorkton man charged with manslaughter, in connection with the death of a one-year-old girl in Regina, has a new court date.
Twenty-one-year-old Bailey Peepeetch was originally arrested for Aggravated Assault on October 7, 2020, but the charge was upgraded when the one girl died two days later.
Regina Police say the investigation began when they were called to a hospital for a report of a critically injured child, and that the injuries were suspected to be the result of physical abuse.
Peepeetch appeared in Regina Provincial Court Tuesday, a preliminary hearing was set for February 14th.
