University of Regina moving to remote learning to begin Winter 2022 term

The University of Regina has announced that they will be shifting to remote learning to begin the 2022 Winter term due to spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

There will be a two week pause on in class learning.

The start date of classes for the term has now been moved to Monday January 10, originally classes were to resume on Wednesday January 5.

Remote learning will continue until Saturday January 22, with a target date of Monday January 24 on when in person classes will resume.

Staff members who are not required to be on campus to help with essential infrastructure is asked to work remotely.
