Starting today, snow routes in the City of Regina are in effect.
That means there will be no on-street parking along the identified routes for 24 hours. This parking ban allows crews to plow the roads from curb to curb, improving traffic flow along select roads. As well, it helps make roads passable for emergency response vehicles.
Blue signs with a white snowflake identify no parking during the 24-hour ban. Vehicles parked on the snow route during the temporary parking ban will be ticketed.
There will be no parking along the snow routes until 6 a.m. tomorrow.
