Meili Wishes Premier a Speedy Recovery

After the revelation that the Premier of Saskatchewan had tested positive for COVID-19; well-wishes came from the desk of the official opposition.

In a statement issued by the NDP, the official leader of the opposition Ryan Meili wished the Premier a speedy recovery.

“Wishing the premier and everyone in Saskatchewan who has contracted COVID-19 a speedy recovery.”

Meili encouraged all residents of the province to follow Scott Moe’s lead and get vaccinated as soon as possible.

“The premier has his booster dose, which puts him in a good position to recover quickly. We know Omicron is spreading rapidly through our communities – if you haven’t yet gotten your shot, book yours today.” Said Meili.

He also drew attention to the fact that Moe and Education minister Dustin Duncan had been in LaLoche recently to unveil the location of a new school.

This visit would have taken place while the Premier may have been positive as his last negative test came just the day before on January 9th.

Meili encouraged the premier’s office to ensure that all close contacts have been notified.
