59 year old man facing charges after investigation by Regina Police Service Online Stolen Property Unit

A 59 year old man from Grenfell has been charged in connection with stolen property thanks to an investigation by the Regina Police Service Online Stolen Property Unit.

The unit was able to recover about $25,000 worth property allegedly stolen from Regina businesses.

The investigation began in December when police investigated into a marketplace account. All the items on the account appeared to be brand new and exclusive to one retail chain.

Police were able to determine that the account holder was a potential suspect for a similar incident in July.

On Friday, investigators were able to attain a warrant for connection to a break and enter incident on December 7.

Police located the stolen property which has been returned to its owner.

59 year old Joseph Evrard is facing charges including Break, Enter and Commit Theft.

He appeared in provincial court yesterday.
