Both rinks from Saskatchewan were in action on Monday night in Draw 9 at the Scottie Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay.

Team Saskatchewan Penny Barker’s rink was defeated by New Brunswick Andrea Crawford 6-4.

Chelsea Carey’s rink picked up a 5-4 win over Sarah Hill’s rink of Newfoundland.

Both Saskatchewan rinks are 2-2 and are currently a game back from a playoff spot in Pool A.

Both rinks will be in action this afternoon, Barker will meet PEI’s Suzanne Birt , while Carey will face Tracy Fleury.
