Riders re-sign LB Larry Dean

The Riders have re-signed three-time All-Star linebacker Larry Dean.

Dean was a huge get for the Riders when they signed him before the 2021 season. Unfortunately, Dean tore his Achilles two days before the start of training camp. He remained in Saskatchewan with his teammates during his rehab from the injury.

The 33 year old came to the CFL in 2016, spending his first three years with the Ticats. In 2019 he joined the Edmonton Elks and was the team’s nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

CFL free agency opens Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 11:00 am.
