The Moose Jaw Police and Fire Departments had an early start to their day.

This morning at around 1:20 am, both units responded to a report of a house fire on the 100 block Ominica Street.

Upon arrival, crews found the house engulfed in flames. It was determined that the house was abandoned and no one was injured.

The estimated damage is $200,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the matter is considered to be suspicious.
