The Moose Jaw Police had an early start to their day.

On Thursday morning just after 1:30 am, the unit responded to a report of an assault where two people had been stabbed.

A 38 year old man was arrested on the scene. He was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and will appear in court at a later date.

One injured person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the other individual was released after  receiving attention from EMS.
