Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were reflecting a downward trend this past week.

Prices for feeder steers ranged from 251 dollars 30 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pound category to 180 dollars 23 cents for the over 900 pound category.

The largest price drop was for the 300 to 400 pound steers, down 7 dollars 3 cents per hundredweight to average the week at 251 dollars 30 cents.

Prices for feeder heifers ranged from 205 dollars 25 cents for the 300 to 400 pound category to 166 dollars 25 cents for over 800 pounds.

The largest price decrease was 6 dollars 66 cents to finish the week in the 600 to 700 pound category averaging 180 dollars 92 cents.
