Regina Police arrest seven individuals connected with illegal drug trafficking

The Regina Police Service has arrested seven people in relation to illegal drug trafficking.

The enforcement happened on March 4 when the RPS drug unit executed four Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrants throughout Regina located in the 1200 block of N Galloway Street, 4200 block of Castle Road, 1900 block of Reynolds Street and the 200 block of Smith Street.

As a result of the enforcement, two men from Alberta and five from Ontario were arrested.

A total of 420 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of fentanyl, $21,000 in currency, along with multiple cell phones, digital scales and other evidence to support drug trafficking, were seized.

The accused were all jointly charged with possession to cocaine and fentanyl and possession of proceeds of a crime over $5,000.
