Rural crime, internet access and drought aid are expected to be among the issues raised at the SARM annual meeting in Regina this week.
The meeting opens Tuesday with a presentation from Government Relations minister Don McMorris and SARM president Ray Orb.
Orb says as many as 2,000 delegates will be at the meeting.
He says SARM has set up a task force to improve rural broadband services.
He adds setting up rural crime watch areas is also under discussion.
Orb says delegates are looking forward to an in-person meeting after almost 2 years of COVID-19 disruptions.
