A 28-year-old woman who had a Saskatchewan-wide warrant has been arrested.

Deanna McKay was wanted in connection with an incident that happened earlier this month on March 5. The incident saw two women kidnapped and held against their will and robbed of their belongings.

McKay is charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. She is also facing additional charges related to two incidents of motor vehicle theft.

She will make her first court appearance Friday morning.
