It’s the last thing any parent wants to hear – an Amber Alert was issued Saturday afternoon.

RCMP in British Columbia issued the alert. A father of a four-year-old and 10 month old were thought to have taken the 23-year-old mother and the children against their will. Police described the vehicle with the license plates in the alert, but the four were found in Kenora, Ont. a few hours later.

The Amber Alert for the children had been extended through the prairies from B.C. as police sought them.

Police arrested the man but haven’t yet charged him.
