The Saskatchewan Roughriders made a potential addition to both their offence and special teams with the signing of Running back Shaq Cooper.

Cooper spent the past season with both the BC Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In five games with the Lions, Cooper he made 33 carries for 142 yards and one touchdown and 11 receptions for 69 yards.

During his short stint with the Blue Bombers, Cooper contributed on special teams, making eight punt returns for 19 yards and five kickoff returns for 108 yards.

Prior to that, Cooper spent two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos suiting up in seven games.
