And just when we thought winter might be over and done with, there’s another winter storm on its way to the southeast, with a snowfall warning in effect as of Sunday morning

The areas affected include Assiniboia all the way over to
Weyburn and Estevan.

Sustained winds won’t be like they were for last week’s storm, so there’s not much blowing snow expected with this system for the southeast.

But there is about 15 cm of fresh snow is expected close to the US border before the snow tapers off later Sunday afternoon.
