The police and provincial coroner’s service are looking into the death of an inmate at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre, just north of Prince Albert.

According to a release from the government, the 25 year old female inmate was found un-responsive in her cell, on Friday.

She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

No foul play is suspected.

The family of the inmate have been notified, but the name of the inmate is not being released at this time.
