First CEO Appointed to Queen City Sports and Entertainment Group

The Queen City Sports and Entertainment Group announced Gord Pritchard will be its first ever Chief Executive Officer.

The group owns the Regina Pats of the WHL.

Prichard, a practicing lawyer in the city, has worked with the Regina Pats in the past in pretty much every capacity.  Pritchard grew up playing hockey in Regina and Saskatchewan, and even played four years of college hockey in the USA.

“I am thrilled to be taking this new role,” Pritchard said in a news release. “I firmly believe that strong communities are built on organizations that invest in creating better services and experiences for the people that call them home.  Regina is a market with untapped potential, and I look forward to working with Shaun (Semple) and the team to uncover new ways to enrich the community here in the Queen City.”
