“We will do everything we can to find him alive.”

RCMP Sgt. Richard Tonge of the Carrot River detachment says search teams have covered more than 90 square kilometres in their search for a missing five year old boy.

That includes wooded areas, swamps, and waterways like lakes and rivers.

Frank Young has been missing for a week on the Red Earth Cree Nation, which is about 300 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.

Chief Fabian Head of the Red Earth Cree Nation, 300 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon, says the search will not stop until Frank Young is found.

Head says the search has become more complex in recent days as annual spring runoff has made the Carrot River rise several metres, stalling search efforts by boat.
